Nearly Half of Brits Consider Themselves to be a Bit of a Nosey Neighbour
Nearly half (47%) of us consider ourselves a bit of a nosey neighbour and 37% admit to spying on next door, but perhaps that’s just being part of a tight knit community. In fact, the majority of us (88%) have a good relationship with at least one neighbour, but there’s always a bit of competition there.
Research conducted by Hisense as part of our recently launched ‘Choose Smarter’ campaign, revealed that nearly a third (31%) feel jealous when a neighbour purchases something that’s better than what we have, 65% say it’s important to keep up appearances when compared to other people in their street and 1 in 10 (9%) admit that their neighbours influence their decision on things… but 47% state that it is flattering if a neighbour buys something exactly the same as you.
But as we approach Black Friday, 45% of Brits admitted to regretting 10% or more of their previous Black Friday purchases, so it’s more important than ever to Choose Smarter.
