Induction Hob with Bridge Zone

14 Reviews

Induction hobs

The ultimate way to heat.

Heating up twice as fast as gas, induction hobs only heat the bottom of induction-specific pans, leaving the remaining hob surface cool and safe to touch. Temperature can be adjusted instantly in a touch, limiting the danger of boiling over. It makes creating temperature-sensitive masterpieces like hollandaise sauce or melting chocolate a simple task.

Flex your hob's heat with Bridge Zone.

Simplify cooking in large pots. Create one large heat source by bridging two separate cooking zones in the touch of this button. Maintaining a consistent temperature across both zones, it’s even possible to cook big meals evenly and minimise the risk of burning.

Fast and powerful heat.

Perfect for dishes that require quick cooking at high temperatures, this setting is not just great for searing steaks and flash frying seafood, but saves time heating pans for other food. After 5 minutes in this mode, the temperature will automatically reduce.

Quickly and safely pause your cooking.

Simply press this button to pause the hob for 10 minutes, Stop & Go then turns back on to the previous settings, making it easy to pick up where you left off.

Master melting with
Soft Melt.

Maintaining a constant temperature of 42°C, Soft Melt makes it easy to master melting difficult ingredients without burning them.

Reactivate previous settings instantly.

Recall Assist lets you instantly recall and effortlessly reactivate the last settings used in the press of this button. Restart your cooking with ease, even if you’ve used multiple hobs on different settings.

Child Lock.

Keep children safe by locking controls, preventing them from accidentally switching the hob on, inadvertently accessing settings or interfering with the controls.

All Hisense cooking appliances include a 2 year warranty as standard to give you complete peace of mind with a product that's built to last.

“Fair range of features & an affordable price”

Whilst at the lower price end of the price range for hob's I have not found myself disappointed with it so far. It was a straight forward installation and whilst it does not have the most sophisticated range of functions or controls , what it does have suits my needs adequately. My old induction hob did have a better heat range setting in that it was more responsive to heat adjustment i.e. going from 9 to 7 for instance took it from boiling to a simmer immediately, whereas it continues to boil, albeit less intensely with the Hisense until you get to a much lower heat setting. Also the Hisense seems to pulse, or at least it is more evident in doing so that my old one, by this I mean you can see the hot water in the pan suddenly bubble up as the power to the plates cuts in and out in a pulsing fashion which I guess is due lower cost of the elements on this particular model and you can hear this as well as see it. I can't say that this causes me any issues cooking, you adapt. I find the controls simply to use, but I suggest you read the operating instructions on its functions settings to determine for yourself whether they would suit you, but they are responsive, though bear in mind the remarks I made about the temperature setting being less sophisticated. I like the fact you can bridge to rings to use as one larger cooking area, its a useful feature. Bearing in mind this was a £200 hob not a £2000 or £500 one I find that it has lived up to the reviews and comments i read before buying it. I registered for the 2 year guarantee so time alone will tell how durable it will prove to be

    “Great Features”

I bought this to replace a Hotpoint induction hob we had had for 8 years but had chipped the top and we were replacing out work tops. It has been in for two days and it so far performs very well indeed. It looks good and provided it lasts as well as we hope it will be great. It has boos function on all the four cooking zones and a bridge function for larger pans.

    “Well worth the money”

Purchased this about 5 weeks ago to replace old induction hob that I dropped a cast iron pan on and smashed only purchased a fairly cheap one as I am having a new kitchen fitted in the next few weeks and having a bigger induction hob but I will say you cannot fault this hob for the price and features excellent product

    “Fantastic Hob”

We went from a gas hob to this induction hob. I am so glad we went for it as it is so easy to use and much quicker than my old gas one. It Cooks food really nicely and it responds very quickly when turning up or down. It is also very easy to keep clean. Would definitely recommend.

    “Great product”

I bought this to replace my old hotpoint induction hob as it was no longer cooking in all areas. This is soooo easy to use and innovative in blended zones and easy reset after you’ve been away.

Brilliant temperature control, fast to boil and easy clean.

    “Easy to use”

I bought this induction hob over two months ago so have had a good opportunity to use it and therefore comment. Firstly it is sleek and attractive, the touch controls are extremely responsive, it is very quiet and there is a good range of cooking zones. My previous ceramic hob was hard to clean as the food would burn on, this does not happen with an induction hob, after two months it is still so clean and sparkling, only requiring a wipe with a cloth after use. This is my first experience with induction cooking and I am so impressed. Water heats in seconds and is controlled effortlessly, frying is just the same, so no more burnt food and less splashing of fat. Most of my pans were magnetic which meant I only had to buy a few new ones, my frying pans unsuitable. It fitted easily and was very good value, one of my best purchases.

“A fast and intuitive induction hob.”

I bought this a month ago. No cable attached as needs to be wired in by an electrician. Easy to clean, super fast and very intuitive.

“Take extreme care as the glass breaks easily!”

I bought this Hob last month and had it installed. After accidently knocking the top of the Hob at the corner with the bottom of a Pepper pot, the glass cracked! Doesn't seem particularly robust. Instructions seem to only show the Hob being Flush mounted? We could not mount the Hob Flush into a Laminate Worktop as the edges of the Laminate will Chip if recessed out, so we surface mounted it, sitting it on the Foam Gasket provided. Seems strange that you can't Surface Mount this Hob, when most other Manufacturers Hobs can be?! Either this is a mistake in the Manual and they can be installed Surface, and if so then the Glass needs to be thicker/stronger or the Foam Gasket needs a bit more give in it! Had to buy a replacement Hob after less than a month!
