The Promoter

The Promoter is: Hisense UK Limited of Unit 2 Meadow Court, Millshaw, Leeds, England, LS11 8LZ.

Key Conditions of the Promotion

The Promotion is an offer by the Promoter, allowing a participant to be entered into a prize draw if, during the period 19 May 2023 to 18 August 2023 (inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”), they (i) scan a Hisense QR Code displayed in a participating Currys store or visit https://hisense.co.uk/lufc-rewards to be directed to the prize draw entry form (“Entry Form”); and (ii) complete the Entry Form in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

The Currys stores which are participating in this Promotion are Rotherham (Unit 15, Parkgate Shopping Park, Stadium Way, Parkgate, Rotherham S60 1TG), Scarborough (Unit A Seamer Rd, Scarborough YO12 4HE) and Leeds Birstall (Unit A-B, West Yorkshire Retail Park, Holden Ing Way, Birstall, Batley WF17 9AE) (“Participating Stores”).

The Promoter will run a total of three (3) separate prize draws during this Promotion (each a “Prize Draw”). The Promotion Period will be split into three entry windows (as detailed in Section 5 below) (each an “Entry Window”) and one Prize Draw will take place in respect of each Entry Window.

Each Prize Draw will select seven (7) winners. Each winner will receive one of the prizes listed at Annex 1 to these Terms and Conditions (“Prize”), selected at random.

All entries must be submitted online in accordance with these Terms and Conditions between 19 May 2023 and 18 August 2023 (inclusive). The Prize Draw that you are entered into will depend on when you submit your Entry Form.

Prizes will only be issued once the winning entry has been verified in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

You may only submit one entry for any Prize Draw (however you may enter each of the Prize Draws if you wish).

Eligibility Requirements

The Promotion is open to residents of the UK who are aged eighteen (18) or over.

The Promotion is not open to (i) employees of the Promoter, Currys Plc or either of their respective holding or subsidiary companies; (ii) agents or members of the immediate families or households of the persons listed at (i) above; or (iii) anyone involved in the administration of the Promotion.

In entering the Promotion, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and you represent that all information provided by you is complete, honest and genuine to the best of your knowledge and belief.

The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to participate as well as proof of your identity.

How to Participate

To enter, you must firstly either scan a Hisense QR Code displayed in a Participating Store or visit https://hisense.co.uk/lufc-rewards/. Scanning the QR Code or visiting https://hisense.co.uk/lufc-rewards/ will direct you to the Entry Form. You must then fully complete the Entry Form. You must complete all of these steps during the Promotion Period.

You will then be entered into a Prize Draw. The Prize Draw that you are entered into will depend on when your Entry Form is received by the Promoter.

The Prize Draws

The Promoter will run a separate Prize Draw in respect of each Entry Window during the Promotion Period. This means that there will be a total of three (3) separate Prize Draws, each selecting seven (7) winners. Each winner will receive one of the Prizes from the list at Annex 1 to these Terms and Conditions, selected at random.

Following the end of each Entry Window, the Promoter will identify and collate all entries that were received during that Entry Window. For these purposes, an entry will be deemed to have been received when you have completed all the steps set out in Section 4 (‘How to Participate’) above. The Prize Draw that you will be entered into will be determined based on when your Entry Form has been validly submitted and received by the Promoter. Any Entry Forms submitted after 23:59:59 on 18 August 2023 will not be eligible to participate in the Promotion.

The Promoter will then carry out the relevant Prize Draw within ten days of the end of the Entry Window to which the Prize Draw relates, as summarised in the following table:

Winners will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process. Winners will then be contacted using the email address provided with their entry. Winners must respond accepting the Prize and provide all information and details required by the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of being informed that they have won a Prize.

If a winner does not respond or accept the Prize or provide other required information and details, within the periods detailed, then the Promoter reserves the right to treat the Prize as forfeited and to select a new winner in accordance with the process described above.

The Promoter reserves the right to carry out investigations and/ or take such other action as may be reasonable under the circumstances to protect itself from fraudulent and/ or invalid entries and reserves the right to reject any entries which (in its reasonable opinion) may be fraudulent or invalid. Where the Promoter has reasonable grounds to believe that a fraudulent or invalid entry has been made, the Promoter reserves the right to refer the matter to any applicable law enforcement authorities.

The Promoter cannot accept responsibility for problems arising from entrants providing incorrect or out of date contact information with their Promotion entry. If Prizes are sent to the wrong address due to incorrect information being provided by the winner, they will only be reissued to the winner if and after they have been returned to the Promoter.

Prizes

The Prizes stated in Annex 1 are subject to availability and non-transferable and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute these Prizes with similar prizes of equivalent or greater value. No cash alternative will be offered or given.

The Promoter has made a limited number of Prizes available for this Promotion and, once a specific Prize has been won, it will no longer be available as a Prize.

Prizes are inclusive of delivery within the mainland UK, which excludes Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands.

The Promoter will arrange to dispatch the Prizes to the relevant winners within thirty (30) days of the winner being selected and their entry being verified by the Promoter.

General Conditions

Where the Promoter has reason to believe that a Prize has been claimed fraudulently or in breach of the requirements detailed in these Terms and Conditions it reserves the right to withdraw the Prize.

The Promoter will not accept responsibility where the Promotion cannot go ahead or entries cannot be administered due to any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind, except in cases of negligence, fault or deliberate act or omission of the Promoter or its agents.

The Promoter will not accept responsibility for any entries which are rejected or cannot be verified or for any other issues (such as the dispatch of Prizes to the incorrect address), due to the provision by a participant of incorrect or incomplete information or contact details.

Publicity

The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the Prize winners to anyone who emails promotions@hisense.co.uk within one month after the closing date of the Promotion Period. If you object to your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Winners may be asked to participate in publicity related to the Promotion which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.

Data Protection

The Promoter is the controller for all personal data collected in relation to the Promotion and included in Promotion entries.

The Promoter will only process your personal data for the purposes of running the Promotion, verifying, handling and fulfilling claims, dealing with disputes, and investigating fraud and invalid claims. Please refer to our Privacy Policy below for further information as to how the Promoter will process your personal data in connection with this Promotion.

If you have opted in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter, the Promoter will also process your personal data for the purposes of marketing its products and services to you. Such personal data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy communicated to you with such communications.

General

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude you from participating in the Promotion (or any similar future promotions).

The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Promotion and/ or to amend these Promotion Terms and Conditions at any time where (in its reasonable discretion) it considers it to be desirable or necessary to do so or where this is necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
