“Good - but with annoying controls!”

When I first unpacked the oven I feared I had made a mistake. My attention was immediately drawn to the cheap-feeling and wobbly control knobs. On closer inspection I wondered why the most commonly-used settings were opposite the 'off' position, while the pyrolytic cleaning setting - to be used rarely and with care - is right next to off. I still find it hard to believe that anyone could design a control to be quite so awkward, and this is compounded by the tiny diagrams on the edge of the knob. The remaining controls are also unclear: the start/stop button surely should be prominent, but it is hard to identify until you get used to it. So much for criticism; once in use I have found the performance of the oven to be excellent. Temperatures appear to be accurate, and it is handy to see the temperature displayed as the control knob is turned (though ideally it would be shown all the time). Heat distribution is good, and I have had no problems with uneven cooking. So I am happy with my purchase; it's a good product with a few frustrating flaws that could be addressed by the manufacturer at very low cost. Oh, and why do oven manufacturers still use clocks that need to be set manually? Radio-controlled clocks cost pennies and are hugely more convenient; especially in an area like ours that is prone to power cuts!

    “Some Minor Issues”

The oven arrived with only one wire rack (good news is the rack was replaced quickly) The other issue is that the left hand oven control is difficult to pop out (overcome by leaving it in the out position) Otherwise pleased with the Oven overall, and my score would have been higher if it was not for the Issues encountered

    “Great Oven”

Bought this oven as a temporary replacement after reading a Which review. Really pleased with it. Good for baking and roasting. I particularly like the soft close door and the ease of cleaning. Going to keep it and use it when I get my new kitchen.

    “Excellent product, programmes and temperatures”

Purchased two weeks ago. Easy to install, though requires a qualified electrician. Very smart appearance, numerous cooking programmes, accurate temperature control. Produces perfect results whether meat, cakes, puddings or pastries. Very good price indeed compared to other much more expensive products.

    “Good so far”

The oven is good so far, slightly smaller than explained but works well, would have liked two shelves instead of one. No wire tray in grill pan.
