Best simple snacks you can create at home

26.11.21

Since we have been spending more time inside, our televisions have truly become our window to the world. Replacing live concerts, movies, any real-life events basically. But whether you love going to the cinema, a concert, or a sporting event, you just know there is more to the experience than just the event. To help you upgrade any viewing experience we have prepared some simple and easy to follow recipes.

Popcorn

Popcorn is a popular homemade snack for a good reason – it is easy to make and delicious. You can even experiment and make it your own by adding a seasoning. Simply sprinkle some chilli, paprika or onion powder over it, or, if you prefer sweet popcorn, top it with some honey. And if you are looking for a way to make it even faster, use the microwave. Hisense offers microwaves with a special Popcorn function, which will help you make the best crunchy snack.

Baked tortilla chips

Tortilla chips are another fast and easy snack which you can top with seasoning of your choosing. You can simply buy the tortilla chips and toppings you like and let your imagination run free. We recommend placing the chips on baking sheet, covering them with some grated cheese, sour cream and chillies. Then simply place it in an oven, that is heated to 200℃ and let it bake for about 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted. This simple recipe can also be done with different toppings that you choose, and it is a great option if you want to use the ingredients you already have. To make snacks like that even faster, Hisense has introduced advanced ovens, that come with Preheat Assist and preheat the oven in just 6 minutes.

Hotdogs

While you can never go wrong with mayonnaise, ketchup or mustard, you can also get creative and try new combos. Like coleslaw, onions, avocado, baked beans, pickles, tomatoes, peppers, cheese or even mushrooms. … Basically, when it comes to hotdog toppings, the world is your oyster – though we are not sure how great oysters would go with it.

Chicken and chips with a twist

You can easily transform your usual breaded chicken and chips into a unique experience with different dipping sauces. Like a simple mixture of ½ cup of mayo, ¼ cup of ketchup, 1 tablespoon of garlic, one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and some salt and black pepper. And if you feel like trying something different, make a blue cheese sauce by simply mixing some crumbled blue cheese with sour cream and a bit of garlic and lemon juice.

Chocolate fondue

If you have a sweet tooth a chocolate fondue might be the one for you. A simple recipe enables you to make this fun and entertaining dessert that will enable everybody to enjoy it in their own way. Create the dip by melting 1 ¾ cups of chopped chocolate in heated up ½ cup of cream and ½ cup of milk and serve it different dipping options like fruits, cookies, or pretzels. To create the best dip, Hisense offers induction hobs with Soft Melt function, that enables you to melt ingredients without burning them by maintaining a constant temperature of 42°C.
