Unusual recipe for cool summer night

You can make your summer grill more exciting by including a few creative grilling ideas on the menu.

Here is the recipe for bacon wrapped date salad!

Ingredients:

  • -200 g brussels sprouts
  • -200 g radicchio
  • -150 g baby spinach
  • -80 g radishes
  • -3 tbsp olive oil
  • -2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • -salt and pepper
  • -12 dates, depitted
  • -12 slices of smoked bacon
  • -100 g feta

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200° C. Halve the brussels sprouts and mix them with generous amount of olive oil. Place them on a tray and roast them for 25 minutes. In a large bowl mix together radicchio, baby spinach, brussels sprouts, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper by taste. Wrap one slice of smoked bacon around a date. Turn on the grill + function. When the grill is hot and ready, place on the wrapped dates. Grill the dates for 30 seconds then place them on a plate. Top the salad with grilled bacon wrapped dates.
